Now that's some good news! Piping master Brian McNamara has produced a new CD and, for this occasion, obviously, updated his website! CD out in December.

Re: New CD and website by Brian McNamara
Mmh... has anybody bought the album? I am a bit confused whether it is a new recording or if it contains tracks from previous releases, e. g. Sile NiGhrada (from Leitrim's Hidden Treasures).

I have the new CD and it is solo Piping throughout so I assume the tracks are all newly recorded.

Re: New CD and website by Brian McNamara
Brian McNamara writes on the website that he is playing two sets of pipes on the new CD. One is a C set by Geoff Wooff in 1997 that he plays together with a C chanter by Benedict Koehler made in 2016. I wonder why he favours the Koehler C chanter, instead of the original Wooff C chanter that came with set? The hole spacing must be the same, prehaps it is the tonal qualities, different reeds? My own Wooff C chanter has a great tone. I wouldn't change it. Fine piping on the CD.
